Meadow School of Riding

The Meadow School of Riding was founded in 1958 by the late Mrs Olwen Allonby and is now situated on Deans Lane, Nr. Woodhouse Eaves.
 
The Riding School has been approved by the British Horse Society since 1976.
   
Stanford-on-Soar fields Facilities include:
an indoor exercise area,

an outdoor school

and

hacks across Beacon Country Park.
 
The school horses and ponies range from 11hh to 17hh. These are suitable for beginners and advanced riders.
 
All lessons take place either in the indoor exercise area or the outdoor school.
   
Lessons, which must be prebooked, can be either private or group depending on individual requirements. Prices.  
 
Group lessons are arranged according to age and ability with adult and children’s lessons available separately. Lessons take place during the day, Tuesday – Sunday, with late night opening (till 9.30) Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
 
Hacking is available for the more experienced rider, Tuesday – Sunday during daylight hours.
 
A car park is available which is reached by following the signs posted around the site.
